During 47-month follow-up, 32 deaths and 72 CHF occurred. Event-free rate was 14%, 48%, and 93% in patients with severe, moderate, and mild TR, respectively. Severe TR was graded as VCavg &gt; 6 mm, EROA &gt; 0.30 cm2, RegVol &gt; 30 mL, and RegF &gt; 45%.

The data are drawn from an event history dataset of a housing adaptation policy for older people collected from 283 Chinese cities from 2010 to 2018. Piecewise constant exponential models are utilized.
The results indicate that cities facing greater internal pressure and a higher political status are more likely to adopt a housing adaptation policy for older people. Policy adoption by neighboring cities could further facilitate this process.

This project aimed to explore their impact on bacterial microbiota diversity over time in CF children.
Sixty-one children enrolled in the MUCOVIB multicentre prospective cohort provided 746 samples, mostly nasopharyngeal swabs, throat swabs and sputa which were analysed using culture, specific real-time qPCRs and 16S rRNA amplicon metagenomics.
Chlamydia pneumoniae (n=3) and Mycoplasma pneumoniae (n=1) were prospectively documented in 6.6% of CF children. Microbiota alpha-diversity in children with a documented C. pneumoniae was highly variable, similarly to children infected with Staphylococcus aureus or Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The transition from routine follow-up visits to pulmonary exacerbation (n=17) yielded variable changes in diversity indexes with some extreme loss of diversity.
The high rate of C. pneumoniae detection supports the need for regular screenings in CF patients. A minor impact of C. pneumoniae on the microbial community structure was documented. Although detected in a single patient, M. pneumoniae should also be considered as a possible aetiology of lung infection in CF subjects.

To define the tumor detection rate in a large cohort of asymptomatic SDHX mutation carriers.
Retrospective multicentric study in 6 referral centers.
Between 2005 and 2019, 249 asymptomatic SDHx (171 SDHB, 31 SDHC, 47 SDHD) mutation carriers, with at least 1 imaging work-up were enrolled.
Initial work-up, including anatomical (98% of subjects [97-100% according to center]) and/or functional imaging (67% [14-90%]) detected 48 tumors in 40 patients. After a negative initial work-up, 124 patients benefited from 1 to 9 subsequent follow-up assessments (mean 1.9 per patient), with a median follow-up time of 5 (1-13) years. Anatomical (86% [49-100 %]) and/or functional imaging (36% [7-60 %]) identified 10 new tumors (mean size 16 mm [4-50]) in 10 patients. Altogether, 58 tumors (55 paraganglioma [PGL], including 45 head and neck PGL, 2 pheochromocytoma [PCC], 1 gastrointestinal stromal tumor [GIST]), were detected in 50 patients (22 [13%] SDHB, 1 [3.2%] SDHC, and 27 [57%] SDHD), with a median age of 41 years old [11-86], 76% without catecholamine secretion and 80% during initial imaging work-up.

In vivo and in vitro experiments were performed to study the effects of AMH on follicle atresia and on the proliferation and apoptosis of granulosa cells (GCs). RNA-sequencing was carried out to identify new AMH target genes in GCs. The expression of some of these genes in GCs from control and PCOS women was compared using microfluidic real time quantitative RT-PCR.
A short-term AMH treatment prevented follicle atresia in prepubertal mice. Consistent with this result, AMH inhibited apoptosis and promoted proliferation of different models of GCs. Moreover, integrative biology analyses of 965 AMH target genes identified in 1 of these GC models, confirmed that AMH had initiated a gene expression program favoring cell survival and proliferation.
